Power of Thor MegawaysOur commitment: gambling is entertainment, not income
Gambling is a form of entertainment. It is not a way to earn money, repay debts or recover losses. Over time the odds of our games favour the house, so the only sensible approach is to treat your stakes as the cost of the entertainment and to stop when that budget is spent.
Before you play, decide two things: how much you can afford to lose and how long you want to spend. Stake only money set aside for leisure, never money needed for rent, bills, food or credit commitments.
Our services are for adults aged 18 or over. We hold a gaming licence for our operations and verify the identity and age of every customer before play and withdrawals are permitted.
18+ only
Underage gambling is against the law. We ask for proof of identity and age, and we may ask again at any time while your account is open.
A few simple habits keep gambling in proportion:
- Set a deposit limit before your first deposit, not after a losing session.
- Play only with money you have already set aside for entertainment.
- Keep gambling as one of several things you do with your free time.
- Never chase losses by raising your stakes or depositing again.
- Avoid playing when you are upset, bored, under pressure or have been drinking.
- Keep an eye on the clock and use a reality check to remind you.
The tools in your account and how to switch them on
Every account includes a set of safer gambling controls. You can switch them on at any time in the safer gambling area of your account, or ask us to set them for you by live chat or at support@casinozetbet.co.uk.
| Tool | What it does | When it applies |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit limit | Caps how much you can deposit in a day, week or month. | A lower limit applies at once; an increase only after a cooling-off period. |
| Loss limit | Caps the net amount you can lose over a period you choose. | Immediately when tightened, after a delay when relaxed. |
| Session limit | Limits how long one session lasts, then signs you out. | From your next sign-in. |
| Reality check | Shows your time played and net position on screen. | At the interval you select. |
| Time-out | Locks your account for a short, fixed break. | At once, and it cannot be lifted early. |
| Self-exclusion | Closes your account to gambling for a longer, set period. | At once, for the full period shown in your account. |
Switching a tool on
- Sign in and open the safer gambling section of your account.
- Choose the tool, then the amount or period that suits you.
- Confirm your choice; the active setting is then listed in your account.
- If you would rather not do it yourself, ask us by live chat or e-mail and we will apply it for you.
Tightening a limit takes effect straight away. Loosening or removing one is deliberately slower: the change is held for a cooling-off period and we then ask you to confirm it, so the decision is never made in the middle of a session.
During a time-out or self-exclusion you cannot deposit or gamble, and we stop sending you marketing. When a self-exclusion period ends, your account stays closed until you contact us and complete a further step, and we are not obliged to reopen it. If you simply want to stop, ask us to close your account and any remaining balance is returned by the methods shown in the cashier.
Signs that gambling may be becoming a problem
Difficulties develop gradually. The points below are not a diagnosis, but if any of them apply to you it is worth pausing and seeking advice.
- You gamble for longer, or with more money, than you intended.
- You borrow money, sell belongings or use funds meant for bills in order to gamble.
- You try to win back losses with bigger stakes.
- You hide how much you gamble from family, friends or colleagues.
- You gamble to escape stress, loneliness, boredom or low mood.
- Gambling affects your work, studies, sleep or relationships.
- You feel restless or irritable when you try to cut down.
- You have stopped before and gone back sooner than you planned.
If this sounds familiar
Set a deposit limit or take a time-out now, then speak to one of the organisations below. Support is free and confidential, and you do not need to be in crisis to use it.
Where to get free, confidential help
Several UK organisations support people affected by gambling, including family members and friends. None of them charges for help, and we are not told what you discuss.
- GambleAware - a charity that funds and promotes free treatment and prevention in Great Britain and publishes plain-English information on how gambling works and where to turn.
- GamCare - offers free counselling, structured treatment and group support for people worried about their own gambling and for those affected by someone else's.
- GamStop - a free self-exclusion scheme that blocks you from online gambling sites licensed in Great Britain for a period you choose; once you register it applies across operators, not only to your account with us.
- The National Gambling Helpline - confidential advice from trained advisers at any hour, who can talk through your options and arrange a referral to local treatment.
You can reach each of these by searching for the organisation by name. Your doctor can also refer you to specialist treatment, and free independent debt advice is available from national money advice charities.
If you would like us to block your account while you get support, tell us and we will do so without asking for a reason.
Protecting children and other people in your household
Our games are for adults only, and keeping under-18s away from them is something we take seriously.
- We confirm the age and identity of every customer using documents and electronic checks.
- We may repeat those checks at any time and suspend an account where age cannot be confirmed.
- An account found to belong to a person under 18 is closed, stakes are returned and any winnings are void.
- Our advertising is not aimed at under-18s and we do not place it where young audiences gather.
If you share a device with children, these steps help:
- Keep your password private and do not let a browser store it or your card details.
- Sign out fully after every session rather than only closing the tab.
- Install parental control or filtering software to block gambling sites; most operating systems and mobile devices also include content and screen-time controls.
- Keep payment cards and banking apps out of reach and look over your statements regularly.
If you believe someone under 18 has used your account, tell us by live chat or at support@casinozetbet.co.uk and we will look into it straight away.
